Standard supply

The standard supply includes:

  • 1 SoluTOP MS2 GNSS receiver (anthracite grey case)
  • 1 USB/USB-C cable for connecting the receiver to a computer and/or powering it
  • 1 5V/2A power adapter for charging the lithium battery inside the receiver
  • 1 telescopic carbon fibre pole, 1.80 m
  • 1 holder for the telescopic pole (available for both smartphones and tablets)
  • 1 hard plastic case for the SoluTOP MS2 GNSS system, custom made to protect the receiver during transport, 336x300x148 mm and 1.75 kg
  • 1 aluminium bipod for long stationary sessions (optional)

Important

To use the receiver in RTK mode you need:
  • A Windows/Android device that supports the Bluetooth Serial Port Profile
  • A real-time network from which correction data can be obtained over the Internet
  • A mobile data service with good signal quality

Every receiver has a serial number on the bottom of the ABS case, which also identifies it when an external device searches over Bluetooth. As soon as it is found it usually appears with its serial number (e.g. MS2-XXXXXXXXXXX), the same one printed under the ABS case.

Attention

If you use software without an NTRIP client, the receiver and the device have to be paired over Bluetooth (pairing) the first time only. See this section.

Optional

The hard transport case can also be supplied with a pocket for tablets up to 10 inches, should you prefer a tablet to a smartphone; in that case a different holder is needed, as shown in the photographs below:
